Hi.... i have problems configuring router for ADSL. I use Debian testing release.
I have ppp0 and eth0 interfaces working properly. Router with address 192.168.1.1 in pinged sucsessfully from one of local computers with address 192.168.1.28 for example. Pinging local computer from router or pinging an external address from local box is not sucssesfull too.

My routing table looks like this:

Dest. GW NM iface
BSN-access.dsl. * 255.255.255.255 ppp0
192.168.1.0 * 255.255.255.0 eth0
default BSN-access.dsl. 0.0.0.0 ppp0


and I used these iptables comands:

iptables -t nat -P POSTROUTING DROP
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o ppp0 -j MASQUERADE

Can you post the output of
iptables -L
please? The two statements you
made can't possibly be your entire
rules-set? If it were you'd be dropping
everything before processing it.

sorry i found new commands for masq in Masquerade-simple-HOW-TO.....
i just don't know if my routing tabel is ok..... i think that first line makes problems......
