I am very new to the world of linux and I am attempting to set up my system to dual boot windows xp and slackware linux. When going through the installation process i skipped the network configuration on accident. Upon returning to the network configuration via netconfig, I have tried using both DHCP and static options and filling in the fields appropriately. Upon completeing the configuration I still cannot connect to the internet once i run KDE.
I am running a linksys wirless b router with several computers attatched... nothing out of the ordinary. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your time and patience.

You can issue the command "sudo pkgconfig" to re-run the installer script. From there you can set up the network stuff just like you would have during system setup.
