The general instructions I gave above were to reinstall each app, then copy in the matching config file from what is on the usb so they can be adjusted to match what you previously did in setting each up.
It is incomprehensible to me, illogical. Besides, without a guide on how to do these things I am simply lost.

If I seem to understand... How is it possible that I have to go application by application ... Isn't that crazy? It's against common sense. Do you understand now why I wanted to abandon this whole thing from the beginning? I followed you just out of curiosity but I expected something like this.

Anyway. One last try, maybe at least the ones that require more configurations I can get them, if you explain in detail.

Everything that is in the Sparky home of the USB was copied to the home of the newly installed system, there are many of the settings ... but what was installed with synaptic on the old system, now on the USB:
How should these apps and their settings be moved to the new system, what exactly should be done, not 'generalities', I am not an expert.

For example, I install now on the new system 'focuswriter', I open it and it doesn't appear configured, logically, it is not in home ... What should I do?.

Thanks.

the applications installed in Synaptic
Synaptic is a detailed package manager used to install/uninstall packages, libraries etc.
It get repository information from Syn apt ic. If you copy the /etc/apt/sources.list file from the USB to the new install you will have the exact same sources and those packages you previously installed should show up in Synaptic of the new installation after updating repos.

I do the same thing, moving OS's around, shrink, enlarge, from HDD to VM vice versa.
To reinstall boot loader on a Debian based OS, boot the install medium ( DVD, Pen drive), select advanced options, graphical rescue mode or something. Since this is Debian with a different name/design, the installer should be same as Debian, you'll go through a ton of questions having you think it's gonna install but eventually you get to a menu that should offer to reinstall grub. You have to select the / partition first and possibly EFI system partition if you have UEFI, then you'll be able to just click on the button "Reinstall Grub". You should also be able to select "Open terminal here" or something, which will put you in a chroot in the root partition to do whatever damage you want to do manually.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying, here's a screenshot, I don't see anything about sources.list, am I wrongly doing ...?

Just to clarify: your personal data on that USB stick is most likely in the home/camello folder (assuming camello is your username on sparky, too).

Sorry, I'll correct my post, it's /etc/apt/sources.list.
If you have the same sources (repos in that file)in the new install as the USB install, run command: sudo apt update or open Synaptic and click "Refresh" or similar to update repository metadata (updade list of available software).

If you don't remember everything you installed and want a list, you'll have to boot the live CD or installer and chroot into the root partition and run command: apt list --installed > list.txt. Then you can get the list from a live environment and review it.

Some Ubuntu types like to use /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory with one or more lists (files) instead of /etc/apt/sources.list file. Those files you would need to copy over.

I wasn't refering to the current state of this discussion; I just realised that maybe you don't know where your personal data is on that folder tree.
