problems installing sawfish

I'm trying to install sawfish.But it asked for the librep libraries to be installed.So I got the required packages and installed them.But while compiling sawfish again,it gave the error that it needed librep libraries of ver. 0.14 or later.But I have version .17 installed.So why am I getting the error.Please help.

What is rep-gtk?Does it come bundled with the Fedora Core 2 ISO.Please advise.
