problems installing redhat 9

im trying to install redhat after haveing tried fbsd to no avail, and i get to the graphic interface of the installer and the screen appears to be around 4x better than my moniter and is split in a weird way at that, the right side is on the left side and the whole screen is blurry, i tried to set it at lowres and that did nothing, tried another screen and it was still the same, could someone please give me some idea as to what to do?

install red hat in text-mode. You can choose that when starting the installation (don't know exactly how, but the information you need should be somewhere on the net). The install won't look very nice, but it will work. Apparently the installer probed your hardware wrong. Take a good look at the settings when configuring XFree86 if it is asked. Maybe you'll have to configure XFree86 manually after install.
