Question problems installing openshot video editor from the ubuntu software senter

hi!,
so i installed kdenlive from the erminal and i saw that it was removing openshot,so i removed kdenlive and tried to install openshot again but when it was about to start it said "Package dependencies cannot be resolved" so i hit "details" and it said "The following packages have unmet dependencies:

openshot: Depends: python (>= 2.5) but 2.7.3-0ubuntu2 is to be installed"
how do i fix that?
