problems installing FreeBSD


hi ,
i was installing free BSD 4.7 ( they say that's the most staible)
and wile i was installing packeges it always stops at cvsupit-3.1.tgz

is that an importand packige?
and... what where the commands to configure the things befor you can start KDE window manager?

and what are the comands to start KDE window manager
if i remember correctly that was "startx" , "startkde"

cvs something would surelybe a cvs package.
concurrent versions system, for keeping versions
of source code straight. so you can decide if its important
or not.
if the BSD setup didn't run
XF86Setup already, you might run that to setup X
kde has a set of defaults it loads the first time you run
kde.
you can put kde in your .xinitrc in your home directory
to use kde as your default environment
cat > .xinitrc
startkde
control-d i think.
then startx
