Problems installing celtx, error with libstdc++.so.5 , celementtree

I have a new xubuntu install and am trying to install celtx. I have it extracted but when i run ./celtx from the terminal I get an error that it can't find the file libstdc++.so.5 . I looked around and found that other people have a similair problem because there is a file called libstdc++.so.6 that is more current. I tried using yum to install a comp file someone linked, but yum says it lacks the celementtree. I reinstalled celementtree through synaptic but to no avail. The urgent part is installing celtx, but both problems are troubling. Advice?

You should install the package libstdc++5. Either search for it in Synaptic (GUI method), or open a terminal and use this command:
Code:
sudo apt-get install libstdc++5
