The configure error involves a qt version less than 4.0 so I guess you need qt3. You could look for something like libqt3-headers.

well no not yet I have a program Qsynaptic but it's tellin me the please enable X sharing memory config in XF86Config...maybe you could help me with this one...I'm only doing this as a last resort because I have fucked with the xorg.conf file so much but have yet to figure out how to make the "scroll" on my touchpad work
