Problems instaling Limeware. What is a VM?

I tried to install Limeware and got this message:

[neil@localhost neil]$ sh LimeWireLinux.bin

Try `tail --help' for more information.

I did downlod and install a java plugin for mozilla but I'm not sure if that is what it needs and I have a problem or a VM is something else alltogether. I'd appreciate any help

I don't think it's worth installing limewire, it's far from anything decent. For P2P I have found that gift is by far the one of the best there is. http://gift.sf.net Of course, this really doesn't answer your question...

You'll actually need to install java, and then add it to your $PATH variable. Translation:
You should search the forums for limewire or java and path, you'll find a plethora of threads explaining how to do what I have said above. Afterwards, you'll have java, which has a virtual machine portion in it, in your path and things will be able to use it when needed. But I'd definitely move on from limewire, it's not worth the work it takes to install it.

Cool

Thanks. I think I will try both your suggestions although I tried Apollon and it doesn't work very well (and I think it has GIft in it) but I can only learn twice as much. Thanks

Ok I got it installed and the logs say everything went Ok, But how do I start it?

If you are talking about starting LimeWire, go to the directory you installed it in and type ./LimeWire.
