Problems in installing FC 4/3/2 when installation starts the system exits abnormally

I have tried FC 4/3/2 in my intel 915 GV chipset P4 2.8 Ghz,256 MB ram,HT....In fedora core 4 after rebooting from the cd,it is not able to detect the kernel and system hangs. In fedora core 2 and 3 it detects the kernels and hardware, then i have 9.77 GB free space for when I start the creates the boot loader....then it shows a message "exiting abnormally" and "You may safely reboot the system" and then the system hangs....plz help me out....
