Unhappy problems booting Redhat 9

I seemed to have succesfully loaded Redhat 9, which I downloaded from there site, onto my PC. Everytime it tries to boot now it does a bunch of stuff and hangs on "freeing unused kernel memory: 128k freed" and then does nothing from there. I am really new to Linux so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx!

check your partition.. and check your RAM.. Maybe ur RAM not fit slightly in your motherboard slot...

if cannot also try burn the Redhat 9 that u download to a CD, then try install to your friend computer.. if it cannot also that's means maybe Redhat 9 u download is not sufficient.
