Problems Auto Mounting Network Drive

I use fedora 9 os with an external network drive connected via ethernet.
The File system is cifs connected with samba server.\
I am able to access the drive via the menue - places/network/ then windows network/workgroup then path //wdstorage/public no problems.

What I want to do is for this drive to auto mount on start up.
The commands im trying are just not working for me.

Command I have attempted for example

mount -t cifs -o username=server_user,password=server_password,uid=client_username,gid=users
// /path_to/mount_point
