Problems after linux installation
 

I originally posted this over at the Fedora site, but with my vast linux experience, it probably should have been here!

To start out, I know zilch about any flavor of linux. I just downloaded Fedora Core 2 yesterday and installed it on a laptop. I believe I used the defaults on everything and installation seemed to go fine. However, when I rebooted after installation (and everytime I turn it on), I get a black screen w/ grub> Hitting Tab will give me a list of possible commands, but I tried them all and am not getting anywhere. I've reinstalled it twice with the same results. Thanks for any help and sorry if this has been discussed before.

Toddo97; which mode text; or graphic? via text would be matter of commands to correct problem. graphic you`ll have to go thru ccc choose the
correct section and admins. powers to correct that problem. not to worry
will not crash as W; no way just try ,try again till you get it right.! take time to read man pages,readme`s, even the user manuals ;referance and what ever else you can inform self to become more knowledgeable then it come easier. be patient, take time and be careful. newbie too speak with expierence.
