# 18.

Just unpack e.g. um-olsr-1.0.tgz
http://sourceforge.net/projects/um-o...s/um-olsr/1.0/
.. and you get the 'um-olsr/' directory with all files, all patches.

Creating 'olsr/' : ln -s um-olsr/ olsr

hi knudfl
thx for your quick reply but I follow your suggestion post#10

package um-olsr-ns-2.34-ubuntu10_i386.deb
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7S2...81LWxUUlE/edit
Providing : /usr/local/bin/ns-umolsr
/usr/local/lib/um-olsr/ns-allinone-2.34/bin/**
/usr/local/lib/um-olsr/ns-allinone-2.34/lib/**

and I cannot find olsr folder under ns-2.34

# 20.

The files in the directory olsr/ are all compiled into the executable 'ns'.
The package um-olsr-ns-2.34-ubuntu10_i386.deb comes with dependencies only.
I.e. the files required to run 'ns'. No examples in "olsr/".

post#21
hi
do you mean that if I use the package um-olsr-ns-2.34-ubuntu10_i386.deb
I will not be able to modify the olsr.cc file because there is not such file under ns-allinone-2.34/ns2-34

# 22.

The package provides the default um-olsr ns* executable.

If you want a modified version : The package cannot be used.
I.e. you will have to build your own modified um-olsr version.

This is how it works : All 441 files.cc are compiled into one file : 'ns'.
After that you can delete files.cc : They are not used any more.

Hi, thank your for this solution..
but I have a problem, when I execute this command "$ ns-umolsr olsr_example2.tcl" I have a problem with the command "ns-umolsr", the error is
bash: /usr/local/bin/ns-umolsr: No such file or directory
When I go to /usr/local/bin and do "ls" I found ns-umolsr but I can't access to it ..

Wrong. The patch umolsr-ns235_v1.0-2014.patch has everything included.
Please start from scratch in a new folder with a new ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing

Build example https://groups.google.com/forum/?fro...M/0U6tiyRnAgAJ
>>> 9/12/15

olsr10.tcl : Unknown file.
Simulation examples : umolsr-examples-09.2015.tar.gz
