Problem with the DNS in a minimal FC3 server install.

I have tried various suggestions by members to my previous thread. I have found that ping does not work, and neither does:

host install.loncapa.org

I also cannot view /etc/resolv.conf

I get a message saying Permission Denied, when I am logged in to the root.

Any suggestions?

If you are logged in as root, you should not be getting permission denied. Please try a "ls -al /etc/resolv.conf"
