When I boot up the slackware disk I got from the Iso, it says this
ISOLINUX 2.06 2003-08-22 isolinux: Disk Error 01, AX = 4250, 9F CAn someone tell me how to fix this? |
Best effort guess would be bad cd or bad burn to the cd

Alrighty man,
try typing media-check at the boot prompt. You might want to check the md5sum too. I found this in a link whose language I cannot read aside from that bit. Hope that helps you. http://lists.firenze.linux.it/piperm...st/009582.html hehehe I also read that you may be having problems with the BIOS, but I wouldnt know the details. You may have to update your BIOS which is not something you want to mess up. |
Do I have to change something called PNP install: yes and change it to PNP install: no
Is that right? |
Can someone please give me a site that will tell me what I did wrong or how to fix this, PLease!
THanks |
Kroennecker, that site said this, it was in Italian,
Raffaello Giving said: good day to all I am installing RedHat 9. TO (second edition). On the mine portable (novelty) I had not problems. On the pc instead to the boot from cdrom I have the following message: ISOLINUX 2.00 2002-10-25 isolinux: DISK ERROR 01, AX = 4231,9F And the trial itself block. It does I can do? To the prompt of the boot of the installation, you beat "linux mediacheck". So controls if the CD of installation have ruined. |
