Problem with reboot . No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/mapper/mpathu3

I have a problem :

fsck.ext4: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/mapper/mpathu3
Possibly non-existent device?

[FAILED]

*****An error ocurred during filesystem check.
*****Dropping you to a shell; the system will reboot
*****when you leave the shell.
Give root password for maintenance

How can I repair the fail?

Hi Pirelo,

Welcome to LQ!

It looks like you might have an encrypted volume the system is looking for. Log in with the root password. Edit /etc/fstab and comment out the line that has the /dev/mapper mount point, and exit the shell.

The system should reboot and get you into the GUI. Then you can investigate the problem.
