Problem with printing?

Hey guys, i seem to have a huge problem with my printer. I'm not sure if it is a software or hardware problem. I'm in a position where i have to write a lot of essays. When i use OpenOffice to print my essays it seems like it leaves a bunch of space on the top, and cuts the footnotes on the bottom.

How can i fix this? Is it a hardware issue? am i forced to use windows in order to print documents correctly?

Thanks

Mark

could you be a little bit more specific,
is your printer doing this all of a sudden or is it a new printer just installed?

You should check the default printer setup settings and the settings in OO when you print and make sure that the paper size is correctly set (probably should be letter) and that the margins are set properly.
