Unhappy problem with Mysql


HI;
i have installing the server XAMPP on my PC
but i can't access to Mysql

[root@localhost lampp]# mysql -u root -p
bash: mysql: command not found

hi,

if you are using xampp I think you can access via phpmyadmin, if xampp is running
http://localhost:<port>/phpMyAdmin should do. Or try
http://localhost:<port>/xampp and I think there should be a link to phpmyadmin.

Check if MySQL is running:

ps -ef|grep -i mysql
