Problem with my mouse


I recently install fedora 5 64. But I have a problem with my mouse, it stop to work a few time after boot. My mouse is a samsung optical mouse. What I do?

Check /etc/X11/xorg.conf - is your mouse listed there correctly?
Also run redhat-config-xfree (http://fedora.redhat.com/projects/co...g-xfree86.html) to ensure it's configured right.

Someone else posted this problem a short while ago(but the version of Linux escapes me), anyways, he was using a PS2 mouse. When he switched to a USB mouse, problem solved.

Just a thought.

This will be correct otherwise his mouse would not work in the first place...
