I am running mint 20 cinnamon. I am trying to use multi boot to install voyager to usb. When I try clicking on run in terminal I get the error xt error. I have also tried disk imager but had different problem there. When I tried either Rufus or universal usb installer I extract the files, but then all I get is a list of files, and have no idea what the next step is. Any help is appreciated
You download release and unpack it. There is a choice for either windows or Linux.
The way it works is you put Ventoy dir on your PC Desktop; you attach a usb. you run script thats inside ventoy, unpacked dir.
What it does is format your usb stick.
After that you simply drag and drop intact distro iso onto stick. You then power down and power up; hit F9 or equivalent to access boot choice, choose boot from usb. Ventoy splash will come up. You can actually have several distro iso on stick and this is the main benefit of Ventoy. Via splash you can choose to boot from any. Thus say you have Mint iso, ubuntu iso, fedora you can try to boot up each one to see :
1) if it boots (not all do)
2) If you like it
With Mint when you have love running there is an icon to install to hd.
with say slackware dvd install iso , you will boot that and go stright to install
