Post Problem with modprobe ndiswrapper

I have successfully installed ndiswrapper (for WUSB54G wireless network adapter) in my desktop running Redhat Linux 5. I find the ndiswrapper.ko in /lib/modules/2.6.18-92.el5/misc/ directory.
Now when I do "modprobe ndiswrapper" I get the following:

FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.18-92.el5/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Invalid module format.

I can't figure out what is wrong! I have made sure that the driver is installed and the device is present.
I have looked at the posts but I couldn't resolve my problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Post One more hint from dmesg about ndiswrapper installation

I just checked dmesg: It shows-

ndiswrapper: version magic '2.6.18-92.el5 SMP mod_unload gcc-3.4' shoud be '2.6.18-92.el5 SMP mod_unload gcc-4.1'
How do I fix the problem?
