Problem with locking the screen

Hi ,

I am new to this world and i have installed fedora core 2 on my Intel system. Everything is working fine , but i am facing small issue when i lock my screen. The problem is if i leave my screen locked for more than 3 hours my screen goes blank and my keyboard is undetectable.
So i am not able to unlock the system and only option which i find to get to my work is restarting my system.

With some suggestion from my colleagues i tried to manupulate /etc/X11/xorg.conf file but with no use.

Please help with this problem.

Thanks in advance
hemanth

You haven't elaborated on your hardware config, pal.Could be a display driver problem. There's no documentation on this topic so it seems that it is endemic to your system.Seems like it's a hardware problem.Post back with details

hi corbis_demon

Thanks for your response. I believe it is not a problem of hardware. The problem which i faced was when i set my screen saver option to "random screensaver" . later when i set it to single screensaver the problem vanished.

I still dont know what would have surfaced the problem. But my thoughts falls on random screenaver option wherein while randomly changing the screensaver some screensaver could have caused the problem.
