when i try to ./configure kvirc ir shows me ant error:

Can not find the qt .. header files.
Make sure that qt is correctly installed on your system,
and the qr version is the one requested by this version of kvirc.
Try to run configure again, this time passing the --with-qt-include-dir option (see ./configure --help).

I have the qt 3.1 rpm on cd...I tried to install it, but I said that it's already installed.
I made find / -name qt-3.1...
It gave me some result...
one was:
/usr/lib/qt-3.1
so I tried to ./configure --with-qt-include-dir=/user/lib/qt-3.1...
the error was same ;\
can you have some soliutions?

Actually as I am typing this I am trying for the third time to compile QT. I am having a hell of a time, it seems that the configuration system for qt (directory locations, etc) is really screwy. Has anyone else had experience installing qt from source? I am also trying to get kvirc to work.
