Problem with KsCD + play digital playback

Hello!

It happens that my PC does not have a cable connecting the soundcard and the CDROM. Therefore, I cannot play music CDs in my PC. However, looking in the internet, I found that with KsCD I can do it if in EXTRAS I do the following:

1. Activate Use Direct Digital Playback
2. Select Audio Backend = arts or alsa
3. Select Audio Device = /dev/audio

I can do 1) and 3). However, in 2) I dont see anything, and I dont know how to select arts or alsa. It is clear that I can rip normally my CDs and then listen the respective .ogg files

Any solution? (I am using Fedora Core 4)

Thanks,

Diego

Select Audio Device = /dev/audio
Try /dev/cdrom
