problem with GRUB after install

I installed suse 9.1 personal with safe options selected, installation goes fine, but when I boot, GRUB is the only thing displayed on the screen.

I have formatted the drive (auto settings), I am not dual booting, I have tried to format then install 3 times, each time with various settings. I burned my image from PLEASE HELP! Thanks.

Can you post the content of the config file?

Enable lba support for your HD in the bios of your computer and if that does not work install linux again with the lba setting still active.
