Problem with Gnome themes.

Hello everybody
I am a totally newcomer to Linux and specially Debian Wheezy and not satisfied with the default Gnome interface. I tried to install a theme (Asian_Catharsis from gnome-look.org) by copying it to '~/.themes' yet gained no result. Could you help me succeed? Thank you.

I have no experience with Gnome 3, and so shall not guess. However, I can advise you on how to help others help you.

How did you try to install it? Since you downloaded the theme from the Gnome web site, you probably did not use apt-get or Synaptic. Did you download a file and move it to the target directory or did you use an add theme feature of your installed Gnome GUI?

Hello Draco
I Didn't know about the 'Add theme feature' existing and yet can not find it. I just downloaded the theme and copied it to '~/.themes'.
From 5 of the themes only 1 would work and still not completely loaded.

I quickly looked at a couple of those themes. Two things I saw:
Was it a compressed file (like zip)?
Did you try the Gnome Tweak Tool after installing?

Yes, I tried the Tweak Tool. it is not shown there.
The file is named : 'Asian_Catharsis.tar.lzma'.
And also I don't know about the differences between the ones available there.
