problem with dvd writing in rhel5 desktop version
 

as am newbie in linux .am handling server which got rhel 5 desktop version loaded.i want to write dvd in this but not using drag n drop.
i want to know how to install kde and how to use k3b software for writing dvd in linux.or there any other methode or software to write dvd in this version .plzz explain mewith steps. am having an external dvd writer
