Problem with displaying xgterm when ssh'ing (X11 forwarding seems to work fine)

Hi guys,
I'm not sure where to post this, and since this is my first post, I've started here. I've long visited these forums to solve problems - successfully implementing solutions given to others with similar problems, but this one, I can't figure out.

When I am ssh'ing to my machine from another one, I get an error when I try to run "xgterm".
Here's the error:
_X11TransSocketINETConnect: Can't get address for localhostxgterm Xt error: Can't open display: localhost:10.0

When I've done xterm or xclock or xeyes, it happily opens up each one of these and displays them on my screen, which leads me to believe x11 forwarding is working correctly. But not for xgterm for some reason.

xgterm works fine on my machine when I'm physically on it, just not when it is being ssh'd into by another machine. My machine is using Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

Any advice?
Thanks!

It worked!

Thanks, Jpollard!

I installed what I think was the 32 bit version of xgterm, and then I had an error, "xgterm: error while loading shared libraries: libXmu.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

So, I followed the advice posted here:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/44213...talled-library

and installed the 32 bit library, and it worked!

Thanks for your help. I had been looking at so many different forums, I'm not sure how I didn't come across the one you linked. I really appreciate you helping me out!
