problem with copying in windows partition..


hi evrybdy...i m new to linux..i m using SuSE 9.1 and i am not able to paste anything in the windows partition ...(although they are FAT)...Can ny1 plz help me .....??

The windows partition is a fat partition? paste the result of df

df is a command that would be typed into a terminal, there should be a program in your "start menu" called something like konsole, xterm, terminal.

type "df" (with out the quotes) into the promp and hit enter, you have to right click to copy stuff, ctrl+c has a different use in the terminal...
