problem with configuring Xfree86 and bootup

Hello everyone!
I have installed redhat 9.0 (server installation) in my old box. I have installed greek fonts and tried to configure the XFree86 file as i read from one greek site.
So i wrote:
Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "el"
Option "XkbOptions" "grp:shift_alt_toggle"
when i rebooted the system at username login it writes only in greek and i cannot login. The shift+alt is not working.
Any solutions?
I dont know how to get into linux to change it. I'm new to linux.
Please help(i'm one step from reinstalling redhat)
Thanks

press <ctrl><alt><F1> when the X login screen shows (this is, control and alt and F1 at the same time; f2, f3 ..f6 will probaly also work). This will take you to a normal console where you can login as root and rectify problems from the command line.
