Question Problem with a modem

I've got an onboard modem, from Nvidia, i've installed the nForce drivers from the Nvidia site, what didn't give any problems, however, when i try to surf or to chat, i get errors in some script, or the page i wanted to view never shows up or in the worst case my PC locks up.
I'm running RedHat 8.0

is there anybody who has an idea?

If instead of your modem, you mean your Nvidia video card, Membrax has a great tutorial posted here:
