Unhappy Problem with


I'm running openSUSE 10.3 and every once in a while i get the following information that comes up and i don't know how to resolve this issue

Warning: locale not supported by C library, locale unchanged

Whenever i attempt to bring up the yast2 control center and try to bring something up that is a selection in yast2 that comes up. help would be great.

I am not sure what your last sentence is...do you mean you are unable to change your region?

Yes thats exactly what i mean. Its getting annoying because i'm not able to install java at all.

2) mine is

LC_COLLATE=en_GB.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=en_AU.UTF-8

LC_PAPER=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_NAME=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=en_AU.UTF-8

LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_ALL=


3) if your locale is already properly set....installing java may be a diff issue.

so post the errors you are getting for your java as well pls

locale gets values...normally but setlocale is the command to set them
