Helo . I can't minimize active windows ,when I try to minimize some windows it disappear in tne right hand down corner on tne display.It is something very annoying.I am using FC5 and GNOME .I opened System-monitor and stop metacity process after that all my old opened windows was appear on the screen .But when I try to minimize them they disappear again. What's wrong whith GNOME,that happened recently,before minimize work correct.One more thing ,how to put a clock and battery indicator on the taskbar.

Thanks, it's my first post and probably is a kind confused.

To add the clock and battery indicator just Right click on the taskbar and go to "Add to Panel", both things should be in the list if you scroll down.
While you're at it, add the "Window List" widget as well, that should sort out your "disappearing when minimised" problem.
