problem while installing perl xml simple on fedora 9....


hello,
I got an error msg while installing perl xml simple...
warning: perl-XML-Simple-2.14-2.1.fc3.rf.noarch.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 6b8d79e6
error: can't create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/__db.000

what does it mean n what do i do now???
i have fedora 9.
waiting for a quick reply......

yes.. i was installing it as a root..

i changed the login to root by su command n then tried to install it... but it was showing the above error.

Will take in consideration all the issues that could result in above error. Look at it and find if one of them is your problem.

Did the links help? If yes which one? And how did you do that?
If you give your solutions others with similar problems will get help outright.

The 1st link helped me. The second 1 was not opening. But the thin gyou need to do su - command instead of su.
