Problem while creating partitions

Hi guys i am a newbie. I have Redhat Linux 5 Server version.
i have a problem, the problem is that i have a seperate 30GB partition for linux i chose custom layout so that i can dual boot. I gave 10GB to / . 3GB to /boot . 3 GB to /home . 4GB to /var . And 2.5 GB to swap (as i needs at least twice the size if RAM ) . but once i allocate space for swap i gives me an error that there is no space to create a partition called NONE. yes NONE..if i increase the size of the swap memory it gives me an error the size for /home is too small or not allocated ...

Please someone help me out of this i am dying to start linux

I suggest that you set /boot to 100M and swap to 512M. What program are you using to do the partitioning? Whatever you are using it sounds like you are telling it to create a partition called NONE. Check the documentation for the partition editor to see how to tell it what you want to do.
