problem to install python complete cyberclassroom

can anybody tell me if I can speak of this programmation method down there?

Often these courses give instructions as to how to set up your computers for the course. Did this one not do that?

What distro are you using? Under your name it shows Fedora 17; if that is true you should be able to get all you need for Apache using Fedora's repositories which would be the recommended method to install software.

Unfortunatly, your answer doesn't help, the cdrom gives instructions for python2 and an old version of apache, and as I told you, I downloaded apache in a .tar file and don't know what to do with it, don't even know how to unzip it.

Like I said, you do NOT need to install from source, Apache is available in Fedora's own repositories. Check this how to: here or this one here. Have you used yum to search for Apache?
