Problem setting up Samba

I'm using Linux Mint 8 Main which is Ubuntu 9.10. I installed Samba, but when I try selecting a folder to share it won't let me. I've attached a jpg of the error message below. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

It looks like the testparm program is missing. This is in the samba-common package (at least in Debian). Have you installed this package?

On the long term it always helps to understand the inner working of Samba. I suggest you to read (it's free in it's online incarnation).
