Wink problem seeing files

Hai friends. Im new to linux. Ive installed Linux Mint Julia 10 in acer aspire 4736z.
Recently i saved some of the webpages to a folder on a ntfs drive shared with windows7. But they are no there... But when i use 'ls' command in the terminal i could see them listed, infact open them with firefox issuing the command "firefox xxxxxx.html".....Why i could not see them in the folder.....Any help appriciated...Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to LQ.

How are you trying to see them in a folder? Using Mint's file manager?

Can you go to the terminal, navigate to that particular directory and post the output of the command 'pwd'?

Also it might be a permission problem, are you listing them in cli as root?
