Problem removing drbd
I've set up drbd on 2 nodes. 1 of them behave abnormally recently so I tried to remove drbd on that node, hoping to configure it again, but it stopped me to do so.
When I tried "yum erase drbd", I got: "No Match for argument: drbd, No Packages marked for removal"
And when I tried "yum install drbd" I got:
---> Package drbd.i386 0:8.0.16-5.el5.centos set to be updated
--> Processing Conflict: drbd conflicts drbd82
--> Restarting Dependency Resolution with new changes.
--> Running transaction check
---> Package drbd83.i386 0:8.3.2-6.el5_3 set to be updated
--> Processing Conflict: drbd83 conflicts drbd
--> Processing Conflict: drbd conflicts drbd83
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
drbd83-8.3.2-6.el5_3.i386 from extras has depsolving problems
--> drbd83 conflicts with drbd
drbd-8.0.16-5.el5.centos.i386 from extras has depsolving problems
--> drbd conflicts with drbd83
Error: drbd conflicts with drbd83
Error: drbd83 conflicts with drbd
What is drbd83? Is it a bug or something?
Any help will be appreciated! Thank you very much.

drbd82-8.2.6-1.el5.centos is installed. And when I do "yum search drbd", I got:

Right so you have drbd82 installed. So refer to the package with that name and you can't go wrong.
rpm -e drbd82
yum install drbd82

Thanks for the kind assistance. But now I got another problem: the nodes just don't connect.
m:res cs ro ds p mounted fstype
... sync'ed: 0.1% (99928/99944)M
0:r0 SyncSource Primary/Secondary UpToDate/Inconsistent C /mnt/drbd ext3
It seems the sync stalls... I tried "drbdadm -- --discard-my-data connect r0" on the secondary node which seems to have 'bad' data, but it still doesn't work. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I have never used drbd. Not really sure what it is let alone know how to configure it.
Hopefully someone else can help.
