problem regarding telnet configuration


Hi experts
I am Imran khan i am quite fresher in linux server i have a IBM LINUX SERVER i face a problem to configure the telnet server whenever i try to connect with the telnet server i got a replie localhost is no temporary not connceted and i want to more about linux server and how to configure and maintain this this server what i can do pls help me

Hi,

Welcome to LQ!

First of all it would help if you told us what distribution you're
using. And secondly you should try to avoid telnet like the plague.
Use ssh instead.
