Well the heroes5 can easily be a problem. If it is a cracked version the PlayOnLinux system will not like it. These systems like the fresh games. I know this from experience. Next, DDO may not yet be an accessible game under PlayOnLinux, it says on the website that some games do not work. Now if you want to play these games on a Linux system you may need to manually install these through Wine. Under the WinHQ website you can see if your games are good to play on Linux and then follow the directions on the website. The best of Luck!

Well one solution that I have to do because I have so many new games that do not work on Linux is you will just have to dual-boot with Windows. The second is getting the legal copy of the game. Those are really the only two ways you are going to get this to work. I am really sorry about that but that is in all honesty unless you can find a way to work it on wine to notice it as a genuine copy of the game. Best of luck!

ok.
got the original game.
trying to download it with playonlinux.
now the POL doesn't seem to see the cdrom0 XP
any thought? anyone?
Edited: ok, installed it fine.
now it doesn't work.
I get a black screen where the game should have started.
hearing the music of the game... the trailer of the story line... but I can't see nothing.
Well this could be from a large number of things. I will try to list them as best as I can:
1. Disc is scratched up.
2. It is just not a game that the system will read.
3. You may need to do some manual changes to the system.
4. The system itself may not be recognizing this. To make it recognize you should have it in a list. Just click on it and it should recognize it.
5. The system is still buggy and you may just need to restart the system.
All of these are things that come straight to mind. I am going to delve deeper into this and see if I can come up with a solution for you.

numbers: 3 and 4 needs to be a bit more specific on the "how to" lvl...
might it be a graphic card issue?
