problem of hostname


hi all....

I dont know some how my hostname got changed form localhsot.localdomain to vinay ...but still in /etc/sysconfig/network file my host name is localhost.localdomain...when i reboot the system it is creating problem in starting sendmail service..it is not starting and system is not starting....I was going throug interactive setup to start the system.....can anyone help me please........

Setting the Linux Hostname

even if sendmail doesn't start I would think the system might hang for a minute or two, but should still start..
