Problem loading a Program in Wine
I'm trying to run NRPG RatioMaster with Wine but I'm having some problems. On their home page they offer a Windows version of their program and a Linux version of it. (Google NRPG RatioMaster, you'll find it) The Linux version is a .exe file and it says that it requires that the Windows version of Mono to be installed first (http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page). So here's what I did, I ran the Windows Mono installer using Wine-0.9.44 and it ran flawlessly. But whenever I click the NRPG RatioMaster executable, a Wine window shows up down on my taskbar for a little while and then goes away. If I try to launch it through the shell, it just outputs "Stacktrace" then skips a line. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The website just says you need Mono installed; plain and simple. I don't know if SuSE has a graphical package manager, but if it does, it should have Mono packages you can install (I say it should because SuSE is a Novell project, and the Mono project is also funded/supported by Novell).
You will also need to install "unrar". |
You can find it if you run Yast. I believe this works on the commandline as well: yast -i mono unrar
Then run the installer of the game with mono using: mono filename.exe |
