Problem installing Sagem ADSL modem
 

I have recently installed RedHat Linux 9.0 (dual-booting with Windows XP). I am a complete newcomer to Linux.

I am having trouble installing my Sagem F@ast 800 ADSL modem (it's a USB modem). I cannot work out any way of getting onto the internet from Linux.

I tried installing the drivers supplied by Sagem on their website but they didn't work, despite trying to follow the instructions as carefully as possible.

Can anybody help me with this?
