Problem installing - - Intersil Prism2 wireless lan pci card (embedded inside the com
I am having a hard time installing the device. The hardware manager in Red Hat 9.0 recognizes the device however I am unable to get the device to work. I am attempting to install the driver for the device however seeing that I am completely new to Linux I am having difficulty. I am not sure whether I need the driver or not or if I am just configuring the device wrong. There was a post about a year and a half ago regarding the same problems on the exact same machine, the title of the post is -- "WireLess 802.11 internal device to work in Linux" posted by zLinuxz on Monday, June 2nd, 2003, I would put the link however the forum disallows it. If anyone can help me help with this problem I would greatly appreciate it.
