Problem installing bootloader

While installing Mandrake 10.0 the bootloader GRUB didnt get installed properly. I have win xp on my system also. I had to repair my mbr to boot back into xp. Now i can boot into mandrake using floppy. How can i install the bootloader. Is it a hardware problem? I have an athlon 2000xp, asus a7n266 motherboard and 512mb ddr ram.

get into MDK using your floppy, and issue these commands:
Code:
[user@domain ~]$su
Password:
[root@domain ~]#lilo
[root@domain ~]#shutdown -r now
this will reinstall lilo, and restart the machine to test it
