Problem in running swing application in RedHat 9.0

Hi friends,
I am trying to work on Java on redhat 9, but I found that the default java in redhat 9 doesnt support it.
I instaloled Java1.4 and set the class path in the /etc/profile but still its not working.
Help please.

What kind of error messages/symptoms are you getting?
