problem in installing RHEL 4

I got the following error message:
attempt to read sectors 0-7 outside of partition on /dev/hda

I created the partition from windows and i used that partition while installing linux.

Please help me to fix the error

The easiest way to do this is to let the RHEL installer do the partitioning. Boot from the RHEL install CD and when it gets to the partitioning step, start by deleting the partition that you made from Windows (actually, delete everything except the windows partition.)
Then create one ext3 partition mounted at /.

I know you have already backed up any critical data on the drive, so no need to mention that....
